“Google is Dead”
This was a statement made to one of my clients this week by another ‘expert’ website designer.
My reply to her was simple;
“Anyone who tells you that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is out of date or doesn’t work, is simply effectively (indirectly) telling you that they can’t do it. (and there are plenty of them!! although in my experience, most website designers won’t admit to being rubbish at SEO)
Yes you can pay for facebook ads & make money online without SEO, but you tell me;
if you are searching for anything, do you use Google?
(Few of us use a Telephone Directory these days) and if there is a site not showing up, you simply won’t know & therefore you won’t click on it… so obviously SEO is very much alive, and very, VERY important.”
“If you’re not being found online,
you may as well be in a big black hole somewhere!”

Now here is another fascinating fact;

So how on earth do you ensure that YOUR latest update is being found and indexed? (especially if it’s on Page 40 of the search results)
